Improved Dashboard

We’ve made substantial improvements to the overview page in the dashboard. These include:

  • Ten new analytics cards
  • A new date picker allowing for custom comparison dates
  • An option to change overview page default start and end date
  • Inspirational quote of the day to help encourage you and your team
  • An optional to do list card for you or your team to track tasks
  • Substantial performance and speed improvements
  • Many other usablity tweaks

This upgrade is currently rolling out to all churches, we anticipate this will be complete by the end of March.

New Cookie Solution

The Cookie popups that almost everybody finds annoying are necessary to comply with UK laws. While they are a legal requirement, sometimes they can cause problems. Many people don’t fully understand what cookies do or the potential consequences of the choice to accept or reject them.

We have upgraded our cookie solution to improve our compliance with the latest best practice from the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and make things simpler and more straightforward for the website visitor to understand.

The upgraded solution includes these improvements:

  • Clearer modern interface.
  • Improved function on Tablets.
  • Improved ability to accept recommended cookies, or quickly select a bespoke choice.
  • Clearer explanation of what the cookies are for.
  • If content is blocked because the user rejected cookies, the hidden content now has a message allowing the user to unblock it.

The upgrade is rolling out to all Churches over the Christmas period. You don’t need to do anything but sit back, relax and know that your visitors are getting an improved experience.

We wish you a blessed Christmas

From all of us at ChurchWeb, we wish you all a blessed Christmas.
We look forward to working with you to grow your congregation throughout 2022

Summer Update

We may have quiet over the summer but this does not mean we haven´t been busy! We´ve been working hard on some major developments. Some of these have just rolled out to our churches that help us during our testing phases. Keep watching this space for updates!

May 2021 Update

Improved Forms

We’ve updated our Forms provision, making the creation and design of new forms more intuitive than ever.
For advanced users, we’ve made many improvements to the API – enabling many advanced features including the sending of information direct into popular Church administration software – no more double keying!

March 2021 update

Improvements to the scheduling of changes

Improvements for users of assistive technology such as screen readers

February 2021 update

Schedule changes to pages

Now you can schedule changes to be made to a page. Changes can be scheduled for any point in the future. It is no longer necessary to have someone available to edit a page at a specific time or date when making time sensitive updates. Just schedule updates to be made in advance.

Clone posts and pages

If you regularly create new content using an old page as a template – this will save you lots of time. Now you can just clone the post or page, make your changes and then publish.

We wish you a blessed Christmas

From all at ChurchWeb, we wish you all a blessed Christmas.
We look forward to working with you to develop your ministry in 2021
